Meet Your Coach
AJ is the owner and head coach at Smith’s Fitness, a gym built on practical, effective training for everyone—from kids and rehab clients to world-class athletes. With a background in strength & conditioning, rehabilitation, and performance training, AJ helps athletes and everyday lifters get stronger, move better, and perform at their best.
AJ’s intro to S&C started through rugby, a sport that took him to England, where he played at a semi-professional level. Since then, he’s tested himself across powerlifting, obstacle course racing (OCR), adventure racing, and numerous ultra-marathons, building a wealth of real-world experience in strength, endurance, and performance.
